TANDEM ASSISTED FREEFALL (TAF) Course

Learn to skydive starting with Tandem
The first step towards becoming a qualified skydiver is to take our "TAF" course. We designed this course to teach you everything you need to know to be a participant in the sport. The Tandem Assisted Freefall (TAF) course utilises the latest in Instructional Techniques, Freefall Video Equipment and Parachute Systems along with highly qualified instructors specialising in the art of Freefall control. We only use the most advanced and up-to-date equipment with all parachutes fitted with computerised back-up opening devices.

Stage 1 involves approximately 4 hours of training, which is conducted in our office at Goodwood (89e Goodwood Road, Goodwood, corner of Albert Street and Goodwood Road) on weeknights (generally on a Tuesday or Thursday night from 6.30pm). You will then jump the following weekend. Once you have completed your training, you will do the jump Tandem with a Tandem instructor. You will be required to perform a series of practice pilotchute throws and altitude checks. You will experience the exhilarating feeling of Freefall, and learn to fly a canopy, focusing on the important aspects of canopy control.

Stage 2 – 10,000ft – $255.00

Stage 9B (low) – 3,000ft – $85.00
Known by skydivers as a “hop and pop”, jumping from 3,000ft will be a slightly different experience than what you have previously experienced. You will have a three-second delay before throwing your pilotchute. This will familiarise you with getting out of a plane closer to the ground
