Greg Smith
Started jumping: 1978
Number of jumps: 4,000+
Rolls: Chief Instructor, Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, and Instructor Examiner. Greg also has a pilots licence.
Story: The founder of SA Skydiving introduced Tandem Skydiving to SA in 1987 along with Kevin Taylor and Gavin Norsworthy. He is on the SA Parachute Council and the Board of Directors for the Australian Parachute Federation.

Kevin Taylor
Started jumping: 1982
Number of jumps: 6,000+
Rolls: Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Freefall Photographer and holds a Packer A rating.
Story: Kevin introduced Tandem Skydiving to SA with Greg Smith and Gavin Norsworthy. Has a long competition history including Gold in 4-way at Australian National Championships 1991, representing Australia in 1993 in 4-way, winning 8-way at Australian Nationals 1994 and winning in 16-way formation skydiving at the World Cup 1998.

Pete Anderson
Started jumping: 1993
Number of jumps: 3,500+
Rolls: Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, and Freefall Photographer.
Story: Pete is an accomplished skydiver with significant competition history. Pete is highly skilled as a freefall photographer in all aspects of skydiving including national level competition.

Vernon Wells
Started jumping: 1994
Number of jumps: 2,500+
Rolls: Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Freefall Photographer, and holds a Packer A rating.
Story: Vernon is passionate about skydiving and can be found at the drop zone every weekend rain, hail or shine. Vernon is always eager to share his extensive skydiving knowledge with those new to the sport.

Dave Williams

Rolls: Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, and Freefall Photographer.
Story: SA Skydiving’s resident spunk and all round nice guy. Dave has supreme aerial skill in both freefall and canopy control. Dave is a gun!

Pete Dabinett

Rolls: Tandem Instructor and Freefall Photographer.
Story: Approachable and sensible, this no-nonsense instructor is valued for his ability to make people feel at ease with a situation that many find challenging. Pete’s skills have developed from years of jumping at many different drop zones throughout Australia.

Damien Winstanley

Rolls: Accelerated Freefall Instructor and Freefall Photographer.
Story: Down to earth and always quick with a joke, however, Damo takes his skydiving very seriously. Damo is a talented instructor with the ability to relate to his students.

Katie Fluin

Rolls: Accelerated Freefall Instructor and Freefall Photographer.
Story: Two words describe Katie, “SKY GODDESS”; students lucky enough to have Katie as an instructor can consider themselves to be with one of the best. Katie has completed extensive research into various aspects of skydiving and has contributed to the development of the sport.

Dylan Tempest

Rolls: Tandem Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Freefall Photographer, and Freefly tutor.
Story: Extremely adept in the art of freeflying, Dylan has competed at an international level and is highly regarded amongst his peers for his freeflying abilities.

Julian Marandez

Number of jumps: 1,700+
Rolls: Marketing guru and parachute packer extraordinaire also holds a Packer A rating.
Story: Julian has been working in the skydiving industry for many years but still loves to squeeze in a jump whenever he can. In addition to being a star packer, Julian has significant competition and freefall photography experience.

Jenna Hay
Rolls: The ultimate numbers chick.
Story: Jenna came to SA Skydiving at 16 and has stuck it out through the tough times of year 12, a degree, a real job, and now a second degree. While skydiving has taken a backseat, she is still passionate for running the business and loves bossing everyone around.

Tai Barret

Rolls: Tech super star and new junior of the Drop Zone
Story: After watching too many James Bond movies, Tai developed a taste for skydiving and joined the team to learn the sport. Tai took the skydiving hard road (like virtually living at the Drop Zone) but is still extremely passionate about the sport.
